WHAT IS ARONIA?
Aronia or also called “Melanocarpa” is the German super berry from organic cultivation. The purple berry fruit with a diameter of about 1 cm has its origin in North America and is known in Germany mainly under the name apple berry or black rowan. Due to its natural ingredients, the berry offers a perfect support for our healthy organism, in all situations of life.
What is aronia mother juice?
The mother juice of our chokeberry from CHOKEBERRY+ is the unmodified fruit juice of the berry as it runs from the press – only a filtration is used between the press and the filling in our bottles to obtain a pure juice. The chokeberry mother juice is thus free of additives and consists of 100% fruit juice.
What contains aronia juice?
The pure Aronia juice of CHOKEBERRY+ has the highest natural content of antioxidants and thus provides a natural Unterstfür a strong immune system. In addition, the mother juice also contains fructose, vitamin C, potassium, calciumand iron. A daily sip (50 – 100ml) is enough to meet the daily requirement of vitamin C and antioxidants in a natural way.
What is the best way to take aronia juice?
We recommend consumption as pure juice or diluted with water. However, the aronia berry can also be eaten problem-free raw or as a jam and fits perfectly to the morning cereal. But beware: We recommend our customers to combine the aronia juice of CHOKEBERRY+ with a meal.
How does the chokeberry taste?
Aronia tastes fruity and a little earthy. The slightly earthy taste here comes from the antioxidants that are contained in the berry. Since the tastes of each person are different, we do not want to make a comparison with other foods, but recommend that you simply try our Aronia juice.

What is in the aronia berry?
The berry is considered a superfood because of its high content of flavonoids and phenolic acids, and thus has a positive effect on our health that surpasses usual healthy foods.
What vitamins does the chokeberry contain?
Vitamin C, vitamin B, vitamin B2, folate, potassium, magnesium, iron, calcium and zinc.
Why is the chokeberry so healthy?
Aronia juice has the highest natural antioxidant content. So far, in vitro experiments and partial intervention studies in humans have demonstrated antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, liver-protective and anticarcinogenic effects of the berry. This composition ensures that the cells protect against free radicals and slow down or prevent critical processes in the body!
For whom is aronia juice particularly suitable?
In general, the aronia juice of CHOKEBERRY+ is suitable for everyone!
Because of the high proportion of flavonoids in chokeberry juice, free radicals in the body are neutralized, which can prevent cell damage. But beware: The intake of chokeberry in no way replaces a visit to the doctor and its recommended treatment. Does aronia juice have side effects?

What is antioxidant efficacy?
The Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity (ORAC) determines the antioxidant capacity of a substance. The higher the ORAC value of a food, the better it can neutralize free radicals. Recommended daily intake is 3,500 to 5,000 trolox equivalents to minimize potential oxidative damage.
100 grams of aronia berries have an ORAC of 16,000 Trolox equivalents, giving them four to ten times higher antioxidant capacity compared to blueberries, cranberries or cranberries.
What amount of aronia juice is recommended?
The daily dose should be between 50 and 100 ml. Perfectly suitable are so-called shots with a filling quantity of exactly 50 ml. They are easy to transport, store, drink quickly and cover the daily requirement of vitamins.

After the conversion of viticulture to organic farming in 1999, it is now time to restructure arable farming as well – the logical consequence of continuous development.
The idea of CHOKEBERRYANBAU (chokeberry) was born. After planting a test area of 6 hectares in 2016, we decided to make a complete switch from classic arable farming with cereal crops such as barley and wheat to an ecological farming method and to CHOKEBERRYANBAU (chokeberry). In the meantime, our chokeberry cultivation area of 108 hectares is the largest in the whole of Germany. (as of 2020)

Where does the chokeberry originally come from?
At that time, chokeberry was discovered in North America. Later, the plant came to Europe through traders and was cultivated mainly in Poland and Ukraine. Accordingly, it was only a matter of time until the plant was also grown in Germany.
